    NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDE

    OVERLAKE

    OVERVIEW

Overlake is Redmond's largest neighborhood by area, and it's really three places in one. Overlake Village is a growing mixed-use district of newer apartments and townhomes. The Overlake employment area is anchored by Microsoft's headquarters campus and is also home to Nintendo of America. And around them are quieter residential streets of single-family homes.

Getting around is the big draw. Two Light Rail line stations, Redmond Technology and Overlake Village, serve the neighborhood, and a pedestrian and bike bridge over SR 520 connects to Redmond Technology Station. SR 520 runs right through Overlake, so Bellevue and Seattle are an easy drive too.

For green space, Westside Park connects to the Bridle Crest Trail, which leads all the way to Marymoor Park, and Idylwood Park on Lake Sammamish is just to the east. Esterra Park in Overlake Village has also hosted part of the city's Redmond Lights celebration since 2025. Outside Overlake Village, most errands still mean a short drive.
